Japanese Artist Turns Objects Into 18th Century Mini-Masterpieces

Imagine what our world would look like if it were miniaturized. Actually, you don’t need to imagine. You just need to look at the unbelievably intricate miniature work from Japanese artist Kiyomi. The mother of two, who has a lot on her plate, finds extra time, even if that means waking up at 4 a.m., in order to create all kinds of miniature items that you’d wish you’d had back when you had a dollhouse.

Kiyomi’s work seems to take you back in time to the Victorian era and early industrial age with some of her remarkable mini-masterpieces. She can even recreate the interior of a lady’s clothing store from the past.
